The 250bhp 2011 Focus ST
Ford did threaten that a performance version of the 2011 Ford Focus would be a world car. We all jumped to the conclusion that would be an all new 2012 Focus RS – and it still probably will be – but if Ford need a get out of jail free card on the performance promise the 2011 Focus ST could be it. It appears that Ford are taking the first performance version of the new Focus to the Paris Motor Show in October.
2013 Dodge Dart Teased
Chrysler has resurrected a 1960s badge and taken the underpinnings of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta to create the 2013 Dodge Dart. The integration of Chrysler and Alfa Romeo is moving on, with the first Chrysler to be built on an Alfa platform arriving at Detroit Auto Show in January – the 2013 Dodge Dart. Chrysler has taken the Alfa Giulietta platform and made it bigger, creating a new platform for North America that is longer and wider than its Italian progenitor, and called it ‘Compact US Wide’ (CUSW).
Hyundai
This is the first look at Hyundai's new Intrado concept car - due to bow in at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It's the first car to be designed under the company's latest styling rulebook, dubbed Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Hyundai's new design chief, Peter Schreyer, told MSN Cars the Intrado defied pigeonholing.
